iPhone 18 Pro Price in India: Expected Specs, Camera, A20 Pro Chip & Foldable iPhone

Apple's foldable iPhone is in the spotlight, and the iPhone 18 Pro is likely to feature enhanced camera capabilities, an A20 Pro chip and potentially higher prices in India.The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will likely be the stars of Apple's upcoming September event. It's also rumored Apple could announce its first foldable iPhone during the event, though they have only confirmed the date and have not yet announced names, specs or pricing.However, leaks and analysts' estimates have provided a detailed picture of what might be coming down the pike.

Expected India Price

With the growing cost of components and memory, one of the largest discussions of the year could be pricing: the iPhone 18 Pro series might be even more expensive than their predecessors.

The price of the iPhone 18 Pro is estimated at Rs 1.34 lakh in India, while the Pro Max is expected to be priced between Rs 1.55 lakh and Rs 1.70 lakh, depending on the storage configuration. Apple has not released any of the numbers.

Display And Design

The size of the screens is not expected to make any big changes, with the Pro having a 6.3 inch OLED screen and the Pro Max, a 6.9 inch OLED screen. Model 1 and 2 will both come with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Design-wise, there's been speculation that the Dynamic Island will be reduced in size. It has also been reported that parts of Face ID could also be integrated into the screen in the future, but this is not confirmed. There are rumours of Sky Blue, Burgundy and Pure Black colour options.

Camera Improvements

The cameras are also to be greatly improved. The Pro variants may have a trio of 48-megapixel rear cameras and a bumped-up 24-megapixel front camera.

A rumoured feature is a variable-aperture main camera, which may be capable of opening or closing the aperture of the main camera based on the shooting conditions. Some reports indicate that it could be a Pro Max exclusive.

The first foldable iPhone will be known by the name Chip.

It's also believed that Apple will bring its first foldable iPhone to market at some point in the future. The rumoured book-like design will have a massive inner display and may be the company's most high-end iPhone ever.
