Meta Muse AI Agent Launches: World’s First Personal AI Agent Built for Everyone

Meta has introduced a new personal AI agent called Muse that is capable of more than just answering questions.

Muse is not a typical chatbot but rather is able to carry out action for a user.

What can Muse do?

According to Meta, Muse can aid with the following activities:

• Planning trips
• Booking travel
• Shopping
• Completing an online application form
• Organizing tasks
• Creating personalized plans

The system can be functioning on tasks once the user has closed the app.

How does Muse work?

Muse is executed in a separate virtual workspace known as Muse Secure VM.

This is an environment set up to keep the AI agent and user information separate from other users and systems.

Additionally, Muse is monitored by a separate Sentinel system for its internet connection.

User control

Users select what applications Muse has access to.

They can modify permissions or terminate services as well.

Meta claims Muse is able to ask for user approval for sensitive activities like purchases or emailing.

Availability

Muse is launching first in the United States, via its own app and WhatsApp.

Meta plans to eventually expand Muse to its smart glasses.
